Product Details
Upper strut mounts and bearing assemblies (top mounts) for MacPherson-type front suspension systems. The strut mount serves two functions: it isolates shock absorber body vibration from the vehicle body through a rubber-metal bonded isolator, and it provides a pivot bearing for the strut when the wheels are steered.
The pivot bearing is a low-friction thrust bearing or angular contact ball bearing matched to OEM dimensions. Rubber isolator compounds are formulated for high damping capacity and resistance to heat and road contamination. The steel upper plate is stamped from high-strength steel and zinc-plated.
Many units are supplied as complete assemblies including bearing, isolator and upper spring seat. Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford, GM, Hyundai, VW. MOQ 10 pcs.
