Product Details
Throttle position sensors supplying the ECU with a precise voltage signal corresponding to throttle plate angle, enabling accurate fuel injection timing and amount calculation, idle speed control and cruise control input. Failed or worn TPS units are a common cause of hesitation on acceleration, erratic idle and fuel economy decline.
Our resistive-element TPS units use gold-alloy wiper contacts on a conductive polymer resistor track for long service life and low contact resistance. Output linearity is calibrated to within ±1.5% of full-scale. Three-pin (supply/signal/ground) and four-pin designs available.
