Hot-wire and hot-film mass air flow (MAF) sensors for accurate volumetric air metering in speed-density and mass air flow engine management systems. Accurate air mass measurement is essential for correct fuel injection pulse width calculation; a deteriorated MAF sensor is a primary cause of poor fuel economy, black smoke and rough idle.
Sensing element is a precision platinum hot-wire or thin-film element encapsulated in a measurement tube. Signal conditioning circuits output either a 0–5V analogue signal or a frequency-based signal depending on application. The measurement tube is matched to OEM internal diameter for correct flow velocity profile.
Coverage: Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Ford, GM, VW, Hyundai, BMW. Supplied with new intake-side O-ring. MOQ 10 pcs.
