OE 0261210114 — Crankshaft Sensor for FIAT PUNTO (188_), LANCIA YPSILON (843_) for Hyundai / Kia

Report it with the order number and packing-list line plus photographs. Because every carton is photographed before loading, we can trace the batch immediately and settle the claim against the inspection record instead of arguing from memory.

Noise normally traces to worn internal surfaces, a loose mount, a dry bearing or contact with a neighbouring part. Isolate it by reproducing the sound at a fixed speed, then compare against the reference photo for 0261210114 to confirm the right replacement.

A supersession happens when the maker revises a crankshaft sensor for fiat punto (188_), lancia ypsilon (843_) and issues a new tail number. The revision normally changes a small physical detail rather than the fit. Where we know a supersession chain for 0261210114 we list the current reference; ask our desk for written confirmation before a large order.

Position depends on the platform. On most Hyundai / Kia applications the crankshaft sensor for fiat punto (188_), lancia ypsilon (843_) sits on the electrical & sensors assembly and can be reached from the engine bay or the underbody without removing the dashboard. Torque figures and disassembly order are given in the workshop manual for each model.

Start from the code cast or printed on the part you are removing — that is the authoritative source. If it is illegible, use the Applications table on the closest electrical & sensors reference and narrow by build year. Send photos and we will cross-check the number for you.

Three checks: the code printed on your old part must read 0261210114; the number must fall inside the build-year range in the Applications table; and the connector, thread or bolt pattern must match the reference photo. Codes cast into the housing are the most reliable source.
